QUICK DISCONNECTS

We offer 4 different disconnects. Two gas in and two product out.

The Grey Quick Disconnect – GAS IN connects to posts on Cornelius Kegs and allows easy hook-up of gas bottles/regulators.
Available as either a barbed fitting (push the pipe on and use a clip to hold it in place) or a threaded fitting (to screw on a FFL fitting so that you can push a rigid beer line tube for a secure fit).

The Black Quick Disconnect – PRODUCT OUT connects to posts on Cornelius Kegs and allows easy hook-up to taps and fonts.
Available as either a barbed fitting (push the pipe on and use a clip to hold it in place) or a threaded fitting (to screw on a FFL fitting so that you can push a rigid beer line tube for a secure fit).

What type of post does this fit onto?

These fit onto the posts of Corny Kegs. It is a ball-lock fitting. To attach, simply push the connector down on the post until you hear it click clock in place. To remove, push down from the top with the palm of your hand whist pulling up the protruding lip at the bottom then lift off.

Threaded version

To connect a 3/8″ beer line or gas line, use the FFL connector. This screws onto the thread and allows the line to push into the connector. This is best for use with gas as it is more secure than the  barbed disconnects. The threaded disconnects are only intended if you use the rigid line rather than the softer PVC.

Barbed version

The tube just pushes over the barb and can be held with a clip if needed. The barbed version is perfect for softer line like PVC as it will grip the barb better.
